I think you've been reading too many "history" websites on the ponynet. The interpretation of the historical record that you find in textbooks is not automatically wrong simply because somepony somewhere posted a different theory. And unless you've secretly got any experience or training at all in managing national security against unique threats I don't think you're in any position to criticize successful operations.
